Newbury Air cadets let their hair down and raise funds for charity!

After a busy day at the Gliding School, what better way to unwind than with a Squadron Social evening. In this case, a Charity Ball, arranged by Cadet Amanda McKay in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity.

Amanda, who has been a Cadet on Newbury Squadron for a year, organised the ball with the help of a small committee of cadets, and made over £1000 for the charity.

The Ball, hosted by Newbury’s Royal Air Force Association, was a great success, with lots of food, drink and merriment had by all.
