Eleven cadets from Newbury Air Cadets, along with the Squadron Commanding Officer, Flt Lt Simon Cragg RAFVR(T), are currently on Summer Camp at RAF Wittering, Cambs.
Even before the cadet have returned to Newbury HQ, the Station photographers have forwarded us the official "211 Squadron at RAF Wittering" photograph (attached).
The cadets and staff are all enjoying the camp and have immersed themselves in Station life, taking part in a broad range of activities including shooting, flying & section visits to various departments at RAF Wittering.
RAF Wittering itself spans the borders of Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire and is one of the RAF's oldest stations and one of the key stations in the Joint Harrier Force, as well as an RAF Regiment's 3 Squadron and the RAF No 1 Force Protection Wing.
